"SHALSET GROUP" LLC carried out the major overhaul of the H=120 m flare unit, executing a complex sequence of high-altitude works to a high standard of quality and safety. The scope of works comprised:
- Installation of scaffolding at a height of 120 metres and replacement of stainless steel sheet b=5 mm (12 m²);
- Replacement of the stainless steel body of the flare unit's crown head at a height of 120 metres: Ø1900x6 mm, h=2 m – 1 pc.; Ø1600x6 mm, h=2 m – 1 pc.; Ø800x6 mm, h=2 m – 1 pc.;
- Major overhaul of the pilot burners – 4 pcs.;
- Replacement of the pilot burner pipes with stainless steel pipe Ø38x4 mm – 50 l.m.;
- Replacement of the P=12 atm steam pipelines with stainless steel pipe Ø219x8 mm – 15 l.m.;
- Opening, internal cleaning and restoration of the hydrostatic seal flange – 1 pc.;
- Replacement of stainless steel pipe Ø25x2.5 mm – 22 l.m.;
- Installation of a ground-operated load-lifting device (winch, 1000–2000 kg) – 1 pc. for raising the tower elements, used to lower and lift the dismantled and newly installed materials (2.1 t).
