"SHALSET GROUP" LLC carried out the painting and protective coating of the reinforced-concrete chimney at the No. 1 "Pyrolysis" section of the Ethylene production of the "Ethylene-Polyethylene" plant of the "Azerikimya" Production Union (LOT 4). The scope of works on the 120-metre-high reinforced-concrete chimney included:
- Cleaning the surface of the burnt and peeled old emulsion paint and preparing the surface;
- Plastering the cracked and detached areas of the chimney surface with a special fire-resistant plaster solution;
- Repairing the metal structures of the stairs and service platforms on the chimney;
- Applying a special acrylic Epoxy-Polyamide primer, followed by white and red topcoats based on acrylic polyurethane resin.
All works on the reinforced-concrete chimney were completed fully on schedule and to the highest quality standards.
