"SHALSET GROUP" LLC carried out the repair of the existing H=120 metre metal chimney of unit No. 43 of production No. 4 of the Heydar Aliyev Oil Refinery. The works were organized and executed with a rigorous, methodical approach:
- "Scaffold-type" platforms were installed along the full height of the chimney at the site;
- An electric hoist (winch) with a lifting capacity of 5 tons was installed for lifting and lowering loads;
- Metal sheets 6 mm thick were prepared in the workshop to the required dimensions and raised piece by piece in a basket to the required levels by means of the hoist;
- Welding works were performed by qualified welders holding special permits for work at height;
- All safety measures were planned in advance and maintained at the highest level throughout the project.
